Farmstay

Welcome to Maitri Farm's eco-friendly way of life. We are a destination for people who are looking to connect with nature. We focus on giving you an unbeatable out-in-the-wild experience. The best way to experience Maitri is to stay the night and live the mornings at the farm, it will expose you to the wondrous elements that play out in these hours.

We have a traditional structure, with reasonable modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. We have no TV - we have books, games and plenty beautiful outdoors😃. The house has 2 non-AC bedrooms, a dormitory, small kitchen (with basic supplies for tea/coffee), a common area and a lovely open courtyard. The house can host a group of up to 15 persons.

They offer a number of activities such a tour of their farm by the owner who also explains in detail their farming methods and the benefits of organic living.

Anirudha Joshi

Lots of greenery, unique accomodation, simple but tasty food and very caring Maitri Farms' team sums up our incredible experience at this place. Add to that a farm tour, some adventure activities and some very informative talk on plant life.

Reaching Maitri

By Road

From Pune, via Mulshi and Tamhini Ghat, get to Mangaon on NH17. This is 105km from Chandni Chowk in Pune.

From Mumbai, catch NH17 to Goa and Mangaon is 100km from Panvel.

Then follow Last mile directions below.

By Train

Mangaon is on Konkan Railway and has a few trains stopping here (from Mumbai as well as from Goa). Then follow Last mile directions below.

Last Mile (Before reaching Mangaon)

Before leaving Mangaon, give us a call ... networks may be flaky after that.

Catch the road to Diveagar / Harihareshwar and travel 16 km from Mangaon to reach Chandore village. Take a left to go towards Govele, and after 1.5km Maitri Farms will be on your right (lookout for a black metal gate).

Or catch a bus going to Diveagar / Shrivardhan (ensure it is going via Sai) and get off at Chandore ... give us a call and we will pick you up. If all else fails, after getting off at Chandore, ask the shopkeeper to call us ... or ask for directions to "Ponkshe" farm.
